The Allstars Festival has been set up by the opera singer and comedian Melinda Hughes who first came to Barbados in 2014 to sing at the Holders Season. She curated events at Cobblers Cove for five years and has collaborated with many Bajan musicians and comedians. During lockdown Melinda formed a non profit company Speightstown Allstars which produced three music videos promoting Barbados. These videos featured well-known artists such as RPB, Sir Cliff Richard, Emile Straker and Alison Hinds.
